Creswick Playgroup
We are a well established, non- profit making playgroup run by caring & qualified staff. We aim to encourage children to learn through their play in a stimulating & caring environment.
We are fortunate to be based in the new and well equipped nursery room of the newly built Creswick Primary School. Though run independently of the school, we enjoy close links with both the nursery and the Primary School. This allows families that later obtain places in the Nursery and/or school, good continuity of care, and makes the transition between these stages far more comfortable for the child.
Our setting is purpose built for under 5’s, and we enjoy all mod-cons including the use of I. T. facilities complete with interactive whiteboard. The room is laid out in such a way as to enable the children best access to all areas of learning through play, we have both tarmac and grass secure outside play areas.
As a registered provider of pre-school education places, we follow the Early Learning Goals (Part of the Foundation Stage Curriculum). This allows us to provide good quality activities individually tailored to your child’s needs and developmental stage.
Creswick Playgroup welcomes all children, of any ethnic background, race, religion or disability, and being based in a purpose built environment, we are fully equipped to deal with all abilities.
